Codes & Standards Program

Supporting code enforcement agencies and equips the building design and construction community with the knowledge and resources to implement California’s Building Energy Efficiency Standards (Title 24).

Overview
These efforts contribute to healthier, more energy-efficient buildings, advance the transition toward zero net energy building stock, and reduce energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions across some of rural California’s most climate-challenged regions.

We accomplish this through a broad range of educational trainings, field code support, technical assistance, and complementary initiatives, including coordinated regional engagement in energy code cycle updates.
